Nathan Hungate, life-long Roanoke resident, joined Blue Ridge Autism and Achievement Center’s Board of Directors in 2014 and is currently the Board Chair. Nathan resides in Roanoke with his wife, Jenny and children Blair and Tyler. Nathan is a REALTOR with MKB, REALTORS, partner with Hungate-Fields Developers, and part owner of Soaring Ridge Craft Brewers.
As a life-long resident of Roanoke, Nathan has long found value in the enrichment of his town and all of its residents. Nathan’s relationship with Blue Ridge Autism and Achievement Center began in 2011 through his children’s attendance of BRAAC’s Preschool Program as peer models. Seeing the positive impact BRAAC was making in the community and in the lives of its students, Nathan was eager to become more involved in its mission.
In addition to his position as Board Chair of BRAAC Board of Directors, Nathan enjoys serving on several other boards and committees. Nathan has been an active member of the Rotary Club of Salem since 2010, a member of the Board of Directors of the YMCA of Virginia’s Blue Ridge (2016 – 2018) and current member of the Board of Directors of Katie’s Place Community Day Program. In his free time, Nathan enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and basketball and Virginia Tech sports.
