Lauren Shaw

 

 

Lauren Shaw originally joined the Blue Ridge Autism Center in 2006, where she found her passion working with individuals with autism and other developmental delays. There, she worked as a behavior technician for 2 years before moving to Florida.  While in Florida, she provided in-home services with a family and worked for 2 other ABA programs.  

 

In 2011, Lauren returned to Roanoke and the Blue Ridge Autism and Achievement Center (BRAAC) as a behavior technician.  After becoming a Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) in 2013, she worked as an assistant behavior analyst at BRAAC. In 2016, she began assisting in the development and growth of in-home and adult services now provided by SVH. Lauren received a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism in 2018 and became a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and licensed Behavior Analyst, in 2019. She serves as the Adult and Family Services Coordinator overseeing the In-Home ABA and In-Home Supports Programs. 

 

Lauren lives in Roanoke, VA with her husband David. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her friends and family.
