Lucy Henderson has been in the education world going on 36 years.  She started with The Achievement Center (TAC) in 1987 and stayed on board when TAC and Blue Ridge Autism Center merged to become Blue Ridge Autism and Achievement Center (BRAAC).  Known by many as either work mom or grandma; Lucy "does it all" to help keep BRAAC running.  Wearing many hats in all aspects, one of Lucy's duties is teaching art class to BRAAC students during the school year.

"I have been fortunate enough to work with children from 3-18 years of age and have loved every moment of it. My duties range from the classroom to the office so there are no dull moments in my days! From Learning Disabilities to Autism, I have learned so much and have a great respect for the staff and parents who love these children and young adults."
