SVH Services and The Salem-Roanoke County Chamber of Commerce hosts Ribbon Cutting

May 19, 2016, Roanoke, VA-The Salem-Roanoke County Chamber of Commerce and SVH Services held a Ribbon Cutting on May 19th at 1:00PM.  Members of the community and the Chamber of Commerce joined SVH Services’ CEO, Angie Leonard, in celebrating the opening of their new office. According to Leonard, “St. Vincent’s Home (SVH Services) is excited to offer services to an underserved group of outstanding young men and women with unique learning challenges in and around the Roanoke Valley; specifically employment services, social opportunities and management of a one-of-a-kind Adult Day Program-Katie's Place.”

The office is conveniently located close to the downtown trolley, where participants can enjoy a day out on the town. The mission of SVH Services is to meet the needs of individuals with unique learning challenges across the lifespan.

“Additionally, our families need support and resources to move through all of the years of life for their loved ones and we are happy to be there for them. We feel that we have the experience and compassion to meet these needs, as already proven through our Blue Ridge Autism and Achievement Centers across the State of Virginia.  Thank you to the Salem-Roanoke County Chamber of Commerce for helping us celebrate this exciting time!” Stated CEO, Angie Leonard.”
